When Rabindranath Tagore established Siksha Satra under the Institute of Rural Reconstruction at Sriniketan, his philosophy centered on experiential, life-centric learning. In his own words regarding the institution:
“Siksha Satra must be made complete from all sides. Not merely scattered drops of learning—science must be introduced right from the roots, especially applied science…”
— Rabindranath Tagore
Living up to this foundational philosophy, Siksha Satra, Visva-Bharati, Sriniketan is organizing its annual Science Exhibition (বিজ্ঞান প্রদর্শনী). The event provides a vibrant platform for young minds to demonstrate practical scientific concepts, everyday problem-solving innovations, and creative models.
