Bichitra (Rabindra-Bhavana)

On the left-hand side of the road leading to Uttarayan, there is a two storeyed house named Bichitra. This house has Rabindra Museum “Rabindra-Bhavana”. Though constructed in 1961, the idea of construction was actually sown in 1942 by Gurudev.At that time, apportion of Udayana was used as the archives of Rabindra Bhavana. When Bichitra was completed, it was shifted. This building consist of a museum, library,Rabindra Documentation Centre, study centre,Multimedia centre, audio-visual department, preservation department and office.
